Animal Partisan uncovers brutal USDA mousetrap experiments

Of all of the animals maligned for human exploitation, few have it worse than mice. Mice are regularly poisoned, trapped and left to suffer immeasurably in cruel glue traps, their habitats are destroyed by human encroachment, and they are subjected to unfathomable horrors in the name of scientific research. For example, one study found that over 100 million mice and rats are used in research experiments in the United States each year. Worst of all, they are deemed not worthy of protection by federal animal welfare laws.

Animal Partisan has been using the legal system on behalf of mice since our inception, taking universities to court over cruel experiments, providing education about the plight of mice, and exposing cruel experiments. In our latest effort to shine light on the suffering of mice, we’ve uncovered photos and videos from horrific experiments conducted by the United States Department of Agriculture to allegedly test the “efficacy and humaneness” of the sadly-named “Goodnature A24” mouse trap.
